The DS1662-4MS is the second generation of NORCO SAS Expand series. It is based on LSI SAS2.0 Expander chip, connected with host computer by 2*SFF8088 interface, with transmission rate up to 24Gbps. It supports single connection or redundant connection. Besides, with 2*SFF8088 JBOD interfaces supporting 3 levels expansion connection, it could connect with 256*SAS/SATA HDD at most. It is suitable for database application cope with mass data.

The status of LED Display clearly shows the states of fan, temperature, voltage,power supply and alarm info, ect.

Highly Intelligent
DS1662-4MS achieves intelligent temperature control. It can adjust cooling system for different temperature and brings long life.

Customized Silent Mode
Users can select silent mode, while the temperature is over its preset level, the system operate will enter into normal mode to ensure system safety.
