Optibase MovieMaker 230 real time encoding platforms are available in a wide range of configurations that are suitable for content creation, broadcasting, archiving and VOD applications. Based on compact half-size PCI boards, the hardware-based encoders provide top digital and analog video quality and offer a variety of video and audio interfaces, video resolutions, audio encoding formats and MPEG multiplexing capabilities.

The entry-level professional Optibase MovieMaker 230 configuration includes composite and YUV video inputs and analog and unbalanced audio inputs with encoding at up to 6 Mbps. A mid-range configuration includes multi-board support and 10 Mbps FDI or VBR hardware options. Top-of-the-line Publisher configurations include SDI, 4-channel Dolby digital Audio, VOD and IMX hardware options.
